Passive Autocatalytic Hydrogen Recombiner
The Passive Autocatalytic Hydrogen Recombiner is a safety protection device designed for environments containing hydrogen gas mixtures. It removes hydrogen through a catalytic chemical reaction. The device consists of a stainless-steel enclosure and slide-out catalyst modules. Heat generated by the hydrogen–oxygen recombination reaction drives natural convection, creating a continuous “chimney effect.” The entire unit operates without any external power supply or mechanical power source, ensuring safe and reliable performance. It is widely applicable to enclosed and confined spaces, providing industrial environments with a proactive hydrogen mitigation solution.

Product Features
Passive Design for Zero-Energy Operation
The device relies entirely on heat generated by the chemical reaction to drive airflow circulation, requiring no power supply, fan, or other external power source. It continues to operate normally even under extreme conditions such as a power outage, significantly enhancing inherent system safety and operating economy.
Optimized Aerodynamic Structure for an Enhanced Chimney Effect
The top of the enclosure features an inverted-pyramid flow guide and three outward-facing exhaust grilles. This design effectively reduces convective resistance, optimizes airflow distribution, and promotes the formation of a strong chimney effect, thereby improving hydrogen removal efficiency.
Slide-Out Modules for Easy Maintenance
The catalyst assembly adopts a slide-out drawer structure secured by a safety lock. Users can quickly replace, inspect, or maintain the catalyst without dismantling the entire enclosure, greatly reducing the complexity of long-term operation and maintenance.
High-Efficiency Precious-Metal Catalyst
The catalyst support features a stainless-steel honeycomb structure with a large specific surface area and low airflow resistance. The catalyst is synthesized using platinum- or palladium-based precious metals and produced through mature coating, drying, and sintering processes, ensuring high catalytic activity and a long service life.
